MikeyStrong Fun Run / Walk
The MikeyStrong Fun Run / Walk takes place on November 24, 2026 at James H. Nance Park in Indialantic, Florida. The event includes an in-person beach run or walk and a virtual option, and also features a short kids run for participants aged 12 and under.

The event is organized to raise funds for research and family support related to DIPG, a pediatric brain cancer. Funds raised support a research fund at UF Shands that provides travel assistance, research funding, and direct family aid. Corporate donors match proceeds 100 percent for that research fund. The organizing foundation has also donated to Candlelighters of Brevard and made direct donations to families affected by DIPG.
Most net proceeds are directed to the charitable cause and the event is operated by volunteers. The format combines an in-person gathering on the beach with a virtual participation option, and includes a youth-focused race for younger children.
