Eastside Beltline 12K-3K
The Eastside Beltline 12K-3K is a road race held on the Eastside Beltline and through Piedmont Park, passing Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market. The event is the final stop of a four-event Beltline race series. Runners who complete all four events in person receive a commemorative medal.
Two distance options are offered:
- 12K competitive, ages 13 and older
- 3K non-competitive, ages 7 and older; dogs and strollers permitted on this course
Course time limits are specified for each distance: the 12K has a two hour limit and the 3K has a 50 minute limit. For safety, pets, strollers, and other wheeled conveyances are not allowed on the 12K course; dogs and baby joggers start in a separate wave on the 3K. Headphones are strongly discouraged.
Awards are given for the 12K only. Overall awards use gun time and age group awards use net time; age group categories are provided in five-year increments. Race number pickup is available on race morning and T-shirts are distributed after the event. The event is held rain or shine unless severe weather requires delay or cancellation.
