Atlanta Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon
The event on Thursday, November 26, 2026 takes place at Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta and features multiple race distances for different age groups. The course starts and finishes outside Center Parc Stadium and passes through neighborhoods including Summerhill and Grant Park.
Distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) ages 14 and older
- 5K ages 8 and older
- Mile ages 6 and older
- Dash ages 6 and under
Course limits and support are specified for each distance: the half marathon has a 3 hour 30 minute time limit, the 5K has a 1 hour 15 minute limit, and the mile has a 25 minute limit. Half marathon aid stations are at miles 2, 4, 6.3, 8.5 and 10.5; Honey Stinger gels are provided at miles 4 and 8. The 5K includes hydration at about 1.75 miles. Headphones are strongly discouraged, and no pets or wheeled conveyances are permitted on the half marathon course.
Event swag and awards are defined by distance: half marathon and 5K participants receive a long sleeved adidas performance tee and a medal; mile and dash participants receive a medal and a beanie. Overall and masters awards are given plus age group awards, with age group awards mailed to top finishers. Timing uses a MYLAPS ThinTag on the back of the bib and results are posted after the event.
