2026 Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon, 5K, Mile & Dash
The Invesco QQQ Thanksgiving Day events take place in Atlanta, starting and finishing outside Center Parc Stadium (Georgia State University). The course travels through several local neighborhoods, including Summerhill and Grant Park. This event is recognized as the largest Thanksgiving Day half marathon in the country.
The event offers several distances to accommodate different ages:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles): Open to participants ages 14 and older.
- 5K: Open to participants ages 8 and older.
- Mile: Open to participants ages 6 and older.
- Dash: Open to participants ages 6 and under.
Course time limits are established for participant safety, with 3 hours and 30 minutes allowed for the Half Marathon, 1 hour and 15 minutes for the 5K, and 25 minutes for the Mile. For the Half Marathon, aid stations are located at miles 2, 4, 6.3, 8.5, and 10.5, providing hydration and gels. The 5K includes a hydration station at 1.75 miles.
Participants in the Half Marathon and 5K receive a long-sleeved performance shirt and a medal, while Mile and Dash participants receive a medal and a beanie. The 5K event permits participants to use strollers or run with dogs on leashes, starting in a dedicated wave. However, pets and wheeled conveyances are prohibited in the Half Marathon.
