Gobble Jog
The Gobble Jog is an annual Thanksgiving morning running event held at the Marietta Square. The event benefits MUST Ministries and draws more than 10,000 runners, supported by almost 300 volunteers. Participants come from across the country and include large teams from area companies, schools, and churches.
Available event options include:
- 10K timed
- 5K timed
- 5K untimed
- 1K untimed
- Tot Trot
The event also offers a Phantom or virtual runner option; Phantom runners receive an official race shirt. Registration fees vary by registration date, distance, and timed or untimed choice, and registration fees are non refundable. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted, provided they start at the back of the field and dogs remain on leash.
Timed race participants are eligible for awards. Medals are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age division for timed races, plus Overall and Masters Overall awards for age 40 and older. Participants may receive only one award and overall winners are not eligible for age division awards.
Race results are posted online and on the event social page, typically within 24 hours. Proceeds support MUST Ministries programs including food, housing assistance, and employment services. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
