Gobble Jog - MUST Ministries
Gobble Jog is an annual Thanksgiving morning run held at The Marietta Square in Marietta, Georgia. The 24th Annual event is expected to draw more than 10,000 runners and is presented to benefit MUST Ministries. Nearly 300 volunteers support the event and its participants.
The event offers multiple race options and a virtual participation choice. Available options include:
- 10K timed
- 5K timed
- 5K untimed
- 1K untimed
- Tot Trot
- Phantom or virtual runner option with race shirt
Participants come from across the country and many join as part of teams. The largest teams traditionally come from area companies, schools, and churches. Team captains can create and register teams; teams registered by noon on November 20 may have race packets boxed together for pickup.
Timed races present awards to the top three male and female finishers in each age division, plus Overall and Masters Overall (age 40 and older) awards. Participants may receive only one award and overall winners are not eligible for age division awards. Race results are posted online and on the event Facebook page, typically within 24 hours.
Registration fees vary by registration date, distance, and timed or untimed selection. Registration fees are non-refundable. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted but must start at the back of the starting queue; all dogs must remain on a leash.
Proceeds support MUST Ministries programs including food, housing assistance, employment services, and other resources for people in need. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
