Gobble Jog
The Gobble Jog is an annual Thanksgiving morning running event on the Marietta Square at 39-75 E Park Square, Marietta, GA 30060. The 24th edition draws more than 10,000 runners and is held to benefit MUST Ministries. Almost 300 volunteers support the event.
The event includes multiple race formats:
- 10K timed
- 5K timed
- 5K untimed
- 1K untimed
- Tot Trot
A Phantom or virtual runner option is available; phantom registrants receive an official race shirt. Registration for 2026 opens July 1, 2026. Registration fees vary by date and event and are non refundable.
Participants travel from across the country and many register as teams representing area companies, schools, and churches. Teams registered by noon on November 20 may have their race packets boxed together for pickup. Awards are given for timed races only: the top three male and female finishers in each age division receive medals, with additional awards for Overall Finisher and Masters Overall Finisher age 40 and older. Participants may receive only one award.
Race results are posted on the Gobble Jog website and the event Facebook page, typically within 24 hours. Every registration and donation supports MUST Ministries programs such as food distribution, housing assistance, and employment services.
