Winter Run in Lehighton
The Snowflake 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk is a seasonal athletic event held in the Borough of Lehighton. Participants can choose between two primary distances or a virtual option. The course begins at the Lehighton Recreational Center and proceeds through the surrounding local area.

Event activities are headquartered at the recreational center, where indoor facilities are available for both pre-race and post-race gatherings. These amenities include restrooms and a shared space for the awards ceremony. Registered participants have access to complimentary food after the event, while spectators may purchase items separately. A basket raffle is also featured as part of the race day activities.
Recognition is given to the top male and female finishers overall. Additionally, awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers across various age categories, ranging from ages 14 and under to 75 and over.
Participants have the option to wear winter holiday attire during the event. Prizes are designated for specific categories of dress, including funniest, prettiest, brightest, and team spirit. Registration includes a shirt for those who sign up by the early deadline, while later registrants receive shirts based on remaining availability.
