Snowflake 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk
This event is a community 5K and 1 mile run/walk held in Lehighton at the Lehighton Recreational Center, 243 South 8th Street, Lehighton, PA 18235. A virtual option is offered for those who do not attend in person.

Registration uses tiered fees with a guaranteed shirt for early registrants. Fees change by date: early registration by November 17 is $30 with a guaranteed shirt; November 18 through December 10 is $33 with shirts while supplies last; registration on December 11 and on race day is $35 with shirts while supplies last. Registration may be mailed to PO Box 511, Lehighton, PA 18235; online registration is available for a nominal fee through Pretzel City Sports.
Pre- and post-race activities are held inside the venue and include restrooms, race awards and food provided free to registrants with additional food available for sale to others. A basket raffle is part of the event.
Awards include top male and female overall and top three males and females in each age category: 14 and under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 plus. Participants are invited to wear winter holiday attire; prizes will be given for categories such as funniest, prettiest, brightest and team spirit.
