Bo Tkach Foundation 5K Turkey Trot
The Bo Tkach Foundation hosts a community 5K road race in Palmerton Park, Palmerton, PA on November 26, 2026. The course starts at 3rd Street and Delaware Avenue and proceeds through the town of Palmerton. The event includes both running and walking participants of all ages.
Registration fees are stated for adults and youth (12 and under) with discounted online rates available before October 25, 2026, and online registration closing November 19, 2026. Walk-on registration is offered on race day at a higher fee and does not include a T-shirt. A T-shirt is guaranteed for those who register by October 25, 2026; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a T-shirt.
Participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item (no glass) for the local food pantry. Packet pickup is available in Palmerton at a local real estate office on specified dates before the event. Paper registration is accepted by mail with a stated mailing address.
Awards include pies for top male and female overall and placings for the top three males and females in the following age categories: 13 and under, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
