Event
Dusk To Dawn takes place on 18 July 2026 at Bridgend Miniature Railway, Fountain Road, Aberkenfig, Tondu, Bridgend, CF32 9BZ, Mid Glamorgan, GB. The event is organised by Mad Running Junkies and is held over a 12-hour time limit. The minimum age is 18 on the event date.
Course and format
The event uses three different looped routes of 10 miles each that participants attempt to complete as many times as possible within the 12-hour limit. Each loop requires a card stamp at Base Camp and collection of the next route instructions. The winner is the person who completes the most loops and total mileage over the 12 hours. The route will be marked with flags and glow sticks; a GPX file may be provided but participants are advised not to rely on it.
Course characteristics
The course is mixed terrain with limited road sections. It includes multiple hills and a downhill forestry trail that can be technically demanding on some days. Organisers note occasional surprises on the route.
Practical details
Entries open 25 July 2025 and close 17 July 2026. Entry fees listed are £65 for entry only and £95 for entry with a t-shirt. On-site provisions include parking, toilet facilities, hot and cold drinks and snacks, a medical team, volunteers, a bespoke medal/trophy and a participant swag bag.
