Merthyr Half Marathon

About the race

The Merthyr Half Marathon is held in Merthyr Tydfil, starting and finishing at Merthyr College. The course uses the Trevithick Trail and the Taff Trail and is predominantly on road with a small trail section, delivering an undulating route around Merthyr Tydfil and the surrounding countryside. Organized by Merthyr Running Club, the event features a Half Marathon plus Mini Fun Run (4–7) and Junior Fun Run (8–16).

All entrants receive a finishers medal, t‑shirt and goody bag, with baggage drop and toilet facilities at Merthyr College. A 4-hour cut-off applies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
