Dunham Massey Duathlon
The Dunham Massey Duathlon is organised by McA Fitness at Bramley Farm, Timperley. The event offers two distance formats, a Sprint and a Super Sprint, and awards a McA Series medal to participants. The organiser runs this event twice yearly with a mid-season option and a winter event.
Both distances use the same course layout. The Sprint consists of a run, a bike and a final run with stated distances of 5.32 km run, 18.85 km bike, and 2.59 km run. The Super Sprint follows the same course with fewer laps. Run sections are described as clockwise; ride sections are described as anticlockwise.
Practical arrangements include a marked transition area where competitors may keep bikes, running shoes and nutrition. There is no separate bag drop, so participants are asked to store unneeded items in their vehicles. All riders must wear a helmet; helmet checks take place at registration. Mount and dismount lines are marked outside the car park and must be observed.
Registration requires bringing the entry confirmation for check-in and race-number collection. Participants are advised to arrive 30 to 45 minutes before their wave to familiarise themselves with transition and pre-race briefings. Limited car parking is available at the Bramley Farm public house; there is two hours free parking at Waitrose opposite the venue. Spectators are welcome and the pub provides food after the event. Entry fee is listed as £25 and the event is open to entrants aged 15 and over on 31/12/2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
