Birchwood 10K 2026
The Birchwood 10K is an established road race entering its 41st edition. Organized by the Spectrum Striders Running Club, the event is held in Birchwood, Warrington. The course is certified as accurate and is primarily staged on closed roads and local paths.
The route begins at the Birchwood Shopping Centre. From the start, participants head toward the rural village of Croft. The final section of the course features a series of three rises over motorway bridges before reaching a fast finishing straight. This race is licensed by UK Athletics.
Participants are provided with several event features:

- Chip timing for all participants
- Time and result delivery via text message
- Professional race photography
- Access to ample free car parking at the venue
Upon completing the distance, runners receive a specific memento: a large, fluffy towel embroidered with the race logo. Cash prizes are awarded to the winners of the race as well as to winners in various age categories. Race numbers and timing chips are not posted in advance and must be collected on the day of the event at the Race HQ located at the shopping centre.
