Manchester Airport Duathlon
The Manchester Airport Duathlon, organised by McA Fitness, is scheduled for 23 August 2026 at the Airport Inn, Altrincham Road, Wilmslow, Manchester SK9 4LR. The event offers two race options and a managed race environment with signage and marshals throughout the course.
The run is an out-and-back format that passes beneath the runway tunnels, and the course is described as flat and straightforward with guidance on keeping left and overtaking safely. The bike route uses quiet country lanes around Ashley, Mobberley and Wilmslow, with one lap for the Super Sprint and two anticlockwise laps for the Sprint. Mount and dismount lines are marked outside transition and riders must have helmets fastened before touching their bikes.
On-site arrangements include a clearly marked and marshalled transition area, registration with a helmet check and a request that personal bags be left in vehicles due to limited space. There is free parking for event participants at the hotel venue when vehicle registration is entered at reception. Times are recorded automatically at the finish line and participants receive a McA Series finisher medal. Water and sweets are provided at the finish.
