Event overview

The Manchester Airport Duathlon is organised by McA Fitness and takes place on 18 January 2026. The venue is the Airport Inn, Altrincham Road, Wilmslow, SK9 4LR, with the course set near the village of Ashley close to Manchester Airport. The course uses quiet country lanes and a flat, out-and-back run route that passes through runway tunnels. Times are recorded automatically at the finish.

  • Sprint: Run 4.18 km, Bike 34.95 km, Run 2.82 km
  • Super Sprint: Run 2.82 km, Bike 18.55 km, Run 2.82 km

The bike route is ridden anticlockwise - Sprint two laps, Super Sprint one lap. The route is fully signposted and marshalled and takes in roads around Ashley, Mobberley and Wilmslow. All riders must wear a fastened helmet before touching their bike. Mount and dismount lines are marked outside transition; do not mount or dismount inside transition. Transition space is limited and will be marshalled. Registration requires an entry confirmation for number collection and a helmet check. Event parking is available at the hotel venue; participants must register their vehicle registration at hotel reception to avoid fines. Entries are open to people aged 15 and over on 31/12/2026.
