Lyme Midsummer Trail 10K
The Lyme Midsummer Trail 10K takes place on 22 June 2027 at National Trust Lyme in Disley, Stockport (postcode SK12 2NR). The event is a one-lap course of approximately 10 km within the park grounds with 272 metres of elevation gain. The route mixes grass, trail and road surfaces and is fully marked and marshalled.
The course features a first mile that runs mainly downhill, a short steep climb past the Cage with views toward Manchester, a flatter section, a second climb to the race summit and a run through woods past the Lantern building. The finish is at the Timber Yard, roughly 100 metres from the start. Drinks stations are located at the halfway point and at the finish.
The race is licensed by TRA and is run under UKA Athletics rules. Chip times are used for vet prizes and results are published immediately on Nifty Entries; finish line text messages are available if a mobile number is provided in the entry. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and a post race snack. Facilities at race HQ include free parking, free baggage storage, toilets and first aid.
Entry details: Club runners £28, non club runners £30. Minimum age for trail races is 16 years. £2 from every entry will be donated to the National Trust.
