Event details

Lyme Midsummer Trail 10K takes place on 23 June 2026 at National Trust Lyme, Disley, Stockport (postcode SK12 2NR). The event is a 10 kilometre trail race licensed by TRA and run under UKA Athletics rules. Entry fees are listed as £27 for club runners and £29 for non-club runners. The minimum age for entry is 16. Entries close when the event reaches its limit or at midnight the night before the race; there are no entries on the day and no official waiting list.

Course and facilities

The race is a one-lap course within the grounds of Lyme Park, approximately 10K with 272 metres of elevation gain. The surface mixes grass, trail and road. The route starts outside the entrance to the main hall, includes an early mainly downhill mile, two notable climbs (one past the Cage and a second to the race summit), a section through woods past The Lantern building, and finishes at the Timber Yard about 100 m from the start. The course is fully marked and marshalled so no navigation is required.

Facilities and services include chip timing, kilometre markers, drinks stations (halfway and finish), bag drop, free parking at Race HQ, baggage storage, first aid, toilets, a bespoke finisher medal and post-race snacks.
