The Duluth Women's 10 Mile is a 10 mile road race held in Duluth, Minnesota. The event location is listed at 1026 E Superior St, Duluth, MN 55802, with the finish near downtown at Duluth Running Co.
The course begins high on Hawk Ridge and moves from the skyline down toward the shoreline. It traverses a hillside before descending Seven Bridges Road and follows a forest road that crosses a series of bridges to reach the shore of Lake Superior. The second half runs along the Lakewalk beside Lake Superior and concludes near downtown Duluth.
The event was created to empower women and to celebrate women runners. The concept called Bridging the Gap refers to gaps women face such as the pay gap and accessibility gaps. In partnership with the Entrepreneur Fund, donations and funds raised from the event are intended to support women entrepreneurs by providing resources to build and grow sustainable businesses.
