Duluth Women's 10 Mile
The Duluth Women's 10 Mile is a running event designed to bring women together over a 10 mile distance. The event centers on the theme of "Bridging the Gap," referencing various social and economic disparities faced by women. Through a partnership with the Entrepreneur Fund, a 501c3 organization, the event raises funds to support women entrepreneurs with resources to build and grow businesses.
The course begins at Hawk Ridge, a high point that provides views of Lake Superior. From the ridge, the route traverses the hillside and descends via Seven Bridges Road. This section consists of a forest road that winds across multiple bridges before reaching the shore of Lake Superior. The second half of the route follows the Lakewalk, a path that runs along the lakefront.
The run concludes near downtown Duluth at Duluth Running Co. The event serves as a community gathering that highlights the shoreline and skyline of Duluth while supporting charitable efforts for women in business.
