NMTC Fall Series
The NMTC Fall Series is nine short-distance trail races held across the Twin Ports from August to October 2026. The races showcase many of the area’s woodland singletrack trails and move from Wednesday evening slots early in the season to Sunday afternoon slots later as daylight shortens. The final race includes a potluck and prizes for all participants.
Entry to the series is free; donations are welcome online or at the race start.
- Distances: 6 to 11 km
An example course in the series is Brown's Point, listed as an 8 km race. The Brown's Point start is at the parking lot at 42nd St. and Billings Dr. The course is a 5-mile out-and-back on gravel road and ski trails in the Superior Municipal Forest (Superior, WI). The terrain features steep rolling hills, is not technical, and can be muddy or slippery in wet weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
