DRC's Frigid 5K & 10K

DRC's Frigid 5K & 10K is scheduled for January 3, 2026 in Dallas, Texas at Winfrey Point, 950 E. Lawther Dr., on White Rock Lake. The event offers the following distances:

Registration is free for Dallas Running Club members and costs $20 for non-members. Routes for both distances are on White Rock Lake. The Dallas Running Club is a volunteer organization founded in 1969 that organizes multiple club races and two half marathons each year. The club’s half marathons help fund a scholarship for graduating students who actively participate in their school cross-country program. Race notes

Bib pick-up takes place race morning at Winfrey Point House.
Awards will be given to overall winners and age group winners in 10-year increments for both distances; awards will not be mailed.
Strollers are permitted; participants using strollers should start at the back and keep to the right on the course.
The course is not pet friendly due to insurance restrictions.
Parking is available at Winfrey Point, Emerald Isle and Sunset Bay; participants are asked not to block driveways or walkways.
No race shirt or finisher medal will be provided to keep club races free or low cost.
Participants must run the distance they register for; distance changes must be made before race day.
