Downey 5K for TLC
The Downey 5K for TLC is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Apollo Park in Downey, California. It is the 14th annual 5K run/walk and benefits the Downey Unified School District’s TLC Family Resource Center. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation in a 5K format, with separate student categories for DUSD.
In-person and virtual general entry is priced at $38.10 (includes a $3.10 fee). DUSD student entry is priced at $27.50 (includes a $2.50 fee). Prices increase after January 31, 2026. Registration will close at 1,500 participants. Virtual registration is available.
Registration, shirts and bib pickup
A free T-shirt is provided for entries completed by January 31, 2026. The first 100 registered participants may use the coupon code First100 for a $5 discount. Same-day registration is subject to availability. Bib pick up is available at the TLC Family Resource Center (13220 Bellflower Blvd., Downey) on dates immediately before the event, and team bib pick up is by appointment only.
