Event Details
The Turkey Trot takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026 (Thanksgiving Day) at Woodley Park in Lake Balboa, California. It offers four race distances: 5k, 10k, 15k, and Half Marathon.
Course Information
The course is an open, out-and-back route along a paved path. It features one small hill located approximately 0.6 miles from the start. There is a time limit of 3 hours and 15 minutes. Participants are instructed to use a pedestrian tunnel and not cross Woodley Avenue. An aid station is available on each loop, providing water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels.
Registration and Logistics
Bib pick-up is available the day before the race or on race morning from 6:15 AM to 7:20 AM. The event area and check-in tables are located at the north end of the parking lots near Victory Blvd and Woodley Ave. Parking is available in the main lots and an overflow dirt lot across from the golf course.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, posted results, and an assortment of snacks. Group discounts are available for four or more people.
