Turkey Trot 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Woodley Park, Lake Balboa, CA
The event is a series of looped running races held on Thanksgiving Day at Woodley Park Section 1, 6340 Woodley Ave, Lake Balboa, California. Distances offered are:
- 5k one loop
- 10k two loops
- 15k three loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
The course is an open out and back layout that is described as easy to follow, with one small hill about 0.6 miles from the start. Aid stations are provided on each loop and supply water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Participants must run or walk through the pedestrian tunnel and must not cross Woodley Ave.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal with a new design each year, a drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, posted results within 12 to 36 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Bibs must be visible on the front for photos and official results. The event enforces a time limit of 3 hours 15 minutes; an early start may be available by request to the organizer. Transfers are handled by the organizer and there is a no refund policy.
