ABWR Half Marathon - Van Nuys
The event is held at Woodley Park, Lake Balboa (6340 Woodley Ave, Lake Balboa, CA 91406) on Thursday, November 26, 2026. It is an open-course running event on shared paths; participants should be courteous to pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
Course details are given for each distance. The route is an out-and-back loop format with one small hill about 0.6 miles from the start. Aid stations are available on every loop and provide water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. A 3 hour 15 minute time limit applies; requests for additional time are handled by the organizer.

- Half marathon (three 4.36 mile loops)
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, chip timing with live results, free race photos linked to bib numbers, free videos and race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, and an event app for results and media. Race day registration options and fees are listed for each distance; group discounts are available for three or more participants. Bibs must be visible for photos and result recording. Bib pick up is available the day before and on race morning at Woodley Park; specific check-in locations are at the north end of the parking lots near Victory Boulevard.
