Pacific Palisades Turkey Trot
The Pacific Palisades Turkey Trot is an annual Thanksgiving Day running event established in 2013 and held at Palisades Charter High School in Pacific Palisades, California. The event attracts more than 2,200 runners and over 2,500 spectators. Runners compete in official chip-timed races and the event posts same-day results on its results page.
The event highlights a newly rebuilt Palisades High School stadium track and a family-friendly atmosphere that welcomes toddlers through grandparents, including kids, strollers, and Thanksgiving costumes. Every registered runner receives a complimentary swag bag that includes an event t-shirt, a chip-timed bib, and additional gift items. The event features sponsor giveaways, packet pickup in Palisades Village in the days before the race, and parking at the high school plus available street parking. Participation supports charitable causes in the community.
