LA Turkey Trail - Los Angeles, CA
The LA Turkey Trail is a trail running event organized by SoCalTrail on November 26, 2026, held in the Santa Monica Mountains near the Top of Reseda Trailhead and the Nike Missile Tower. Courses run wholly on fire roads and singletrack with significant elevation change and views of the San Fernando Valley, the Pacific Ocean, and the San Gabriel Mountains.
Distances and basic course data:
- 13.67 miles (half-marathon), 2,323 ft gain
- 6.7 miles (10k), 857 ft gain
- 2.76 miles (5k), 448 ft gain
Race amenities include a soft cotton or tech race shirt, unique finisher medals, free course photography, a post-race beer garden for 21+, a vegan-friendly taco breakfast, and on-site sports massage. The event offers overall and age-group awards for the 10k and half-marathon and a cash prize of $500 each for the men’s and women’s half-marathon winners. The finish area features announcers, live DJs, sponsor giveaways, and professional medical support.
