Dorney Triathlon - July
The event takes place at Dorney Lake, an Olympic rowing venue with a clear lake and flat, scenic grounds. Swim-bike-run options are offered over several distance formats. The event is draft illegal and uses chip timing.
The layout of the site produces a flat bike and run course. The format supports both timed personal-best attempts and entry-level competitors taking early steps into triathlon. Marshals and on-course support are provided to guide and encourage participants.
Race formats include individual and team entries. Team relays may be formed of two or three people who share the disciplines. For participants who do not wish to run, Aquabike options are available.
Participants must hold a British Triathlon membership and a race licence, or purchase a single-use Race Pass at the time of entry. Wetsuit hire is offered, including season hire of Zone3 wetsuits and short-term hire options for day, weekend or month rental. Free parking is available at the venue.
