Dorney Triathlon - July 2026
The Dorney Triathlon takes place at Dorney Lake, Court Lane, Windsor SL4 6FJ. The event is held at an Olympic venue with clear water and flat, scenic grounds. Racing is chip timed and the event is draft illegal.
Multiple race formats are offered, including swim-bike-run races, swim-bike only (Aquabike) and team relay options where two or three participants may share the disciplines.
Distances for the main race formats:
- Super Sprint: 400 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 19 km bike, 5 km run
- Standard: 1500 m swim, 38 km bike, 10 km run
Aquabike and relay variations follow the corresponding swim and bike or combined distances for Sprint and Standard categories.
Participants must hold a British Triathlon membership or purchase a single use race pass and hold a race licence. Wetsuit hire is available through event providers, including seasonal and short term options. Free parking is provided at the venue.
Categories are organised by age bands and include separate female and open categories as well as relay and aquabike fields. The organiser provides marshals and course support to manage the swim, bike and run courses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
