Top Flight Battersea CTS 5k
Top Flight Battersea CTS 5k is scheduled for 29 July 2026 at Battersea Park Bandstand in Battersea Park, London SW11 4NJ. The race uses a two-lap format around a 2.5 km loop set in central London.
The course is described as flat and fast, with long straight sections and sweeping bends. A tree-line runs along both sides of the loop, providing shelter from the elements.
Entry and eligibility are managed through the Top Flight Wave standards. For the Top Flight wave the reduced standard for both men and women is Sub 17:30 for 5k and 37:00 for 10k. Additional Top Flight and Free Elite entry standards are published for 5k, 10k and half marathon distances. Entries are assessed against performances achieved within the last two years, including equivalent times over other distances, track results and notable cross-country performances.
For operational reasons the 5k on-the-day time limit is set at 20 minutes. The event forms part of a series with a points structure for series standings and a cash prize program. Points are awarded 25, 18, 15, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 for 1st to 10th. Cash awards include a race winner prize of £200, time-based bonuses for performances under qualifying times, a course record bonus of £200, and additional RunThrough and UK-leading performance prizes.
