Battersea Brewing 10K and 5K
The Battersea Brewery 10K and 5K is an evening running event held in London on July 30th. The race takes place within Battersea Park and is organized in partnership with the Battersea Brewery, located between the River Thames and the Battersea Power Station. The event supports a local charity, the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
The course is set on tarmac and is designed to be flat and traffic-free. Participants follow a 2.5 km loop that starts and finishes at the Bandstand in the center of the park. Runners select from two distances:
- 10 km (four laps)
- 5 km (two laps)
The event utilizes chip timing and has a total cut-off time of 90 minutes. This is a cupless race, though water refill stations are provided on each lap for participants to use. Mandatory medical cover, a bag drop area, and toilet facilities are available on-site for all registered runners.
Participants receive a finisher medal and a reusable pint cup. Following the run, the Battersea Brewery hosts a social gathering where runners can redeem a voucher for a complimentary drink, with both alcoholic beer and soft drink options available. Digital race photos are also provided for download after the event. The minimum age for entry is 16 years old. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
