The North Downs 50 Ultra Challenge takes place on Sat 1 Aug 2026 in the North Downs, Surrey. The event is based at Guildford with start and finish at Loseley Park. The route uses the North Downs Way and local Surrey hills and countryside, with views to the south.

- 10 km - Guildford basecamp loop; ~230 m elevation
The organiser offers walking, jogging, or running entries. There are category options including Ultra March for walkers targeting 50 km in under 12 hours and Trailblazerz for faster, time-targeted runners.
Support and logistics
Rest stops are placed about every 12.5 km, with major stops at approximately 25 km and 50 km. Each stop provides snacks, meals every 25 km, hot drinks, water and energy drinks, and catering for dietary requirements. The route is fully signed and marked with arrows and glow-sticks for night sections; GPS tracking and a timing system scan participants at rest stops. Medical, podiatry and massage teams are available at rest stops and on the route. Accommodation options include camping and nearby university-style rooms with en suite facilities.
