Logistics and support
The event provides covered rest stops approximately every 12.5 km, with meal stops about every 25 km. Food and drink at stops include hot drinks, water and energy drinks; lighter options are available for runners. Medical provision includes doctors, paramedics, first aiders, podiatrists and masseuses, plus a self-help area with blister plasters and tape. The route is fully signed and uses GPS tracking via the event app. Accommodation options include on-site camping and adjacent university-style rooms with en suite facilities (bookable extras). Shuttle buses, transfers and parking are available for participants and supporters. Entry options include self-fund and several charity funding tiers; self-fund registration fees listed for 2026 include £139 for the 50 km, £89 for 25 km and £39 for 10 km.
