Dorney Lake Triathlon
The Dorney Lake Triathlon takes place at Dorney Lake, Windsor, and is organised by RunThrough. The venue offers calm open water and flat, traffic-free laps beside a purpose-built lake. Wide roads and paths create a flat bike and run course that supports consistent pacing and chip-timed results.
Race formats available include individual, relay, and aquabike options. Distances on the day are:
- Super Sprint: 400m swim; 9.5km bike (2 laps); 2.5km run; 20m elevation.
- Sprint: 750m swim; 19km bike (4 laps); 5km run; 40m elevation.
- Standard: 1500m swim; 38km bike (8 laps); 10km run; 80m elevation.
Entrants receive a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, and post-race goodies. Marshals guide participants around the course and an event village provides food and drink options, including free items from partners. Aquabike entries remove the run leg, and relay entries allow teams to divide the three disciplines.
