Thorpe Park Sprint Triathlon
The Thorpe Park Sprint Triathlon takes place on 23 August 2026 at Thorpe Park Running Events, Staines Rd, Chertsey. The event is organised by RunThrough and supports Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity with more than 100 years of work supporting people living with cancer.
Race distances are:
- Swim: one 750m lap in Fleet Lake with six sighting buoys
- Bike: 20 km, one lap on a very flat route
- Run: 5 km, three laps with out and back sections on a flat route
Each discipline will be marked with distance flags and marshals will be present on course. The event uses sprint distances intended to be approachable for first-time triathletes. Entry includes free admission to Thorpe Park Theme Park.
Additional event offerings include an optional Thorpe Park Sprint Triathlon event T-shirt available at checkout for £15, stated retail value £25. The swim is held on a buoy-marked course in Fleet Lake and both the bike and run routes are described as very flat.
