Richmond Park Half Marathon and Marathon
The event offers trail runs over two distances held entirely within Richmond Park. The race base and finish area are at Sheen Gate Car Park Area in Richmond Park, TW10 5HT. The organizer is 1 Mile 2 Go Events and the next occurrence is scheduled for 23 August 2026.
The course departs from Sheen Gate and includes an out-and-back section to Richmond Gate before continuing through the centre of the park to the White House, with views over the park lakes and opportunities to see wildlife. Runners proceed down to Robin Hood Gate and join the Tamsin Trail, which follows the inner walls of the park. The route climbs Broomfield Hill where a drinks station is located, then continues toward Kingston Gate and through woodland to Ham Gate, which hosts another drinks and feed station.
From Ham Gate the course reaches Petersham Gate, turns back to Ham Gate, and follows the main track alongside Queens Road with a controlled crossing. The route then returns toward the central private road, described as a flatter, faster section, before reaching the White House and returning to Sheen Gate for the half marathon finish.
