About the race
Richmond Park Half Marathon is a trail-style half marathon held entirely within Richmond Park, London. The course starts and finishes at Sheen Gate (race HQ) and covers 13.1 miles, looping from the centre to Richmond Gate and along the Tamsin Trail, with climbs to Broomfield Hill for drinks and passing Ham Gate for further refreshments. Runners continue through Petersham Gate and a flat section along Queens Road before returning to Sheen Gate.
The race offers spectacular parkland views, wildlife sightings, and a supportive, small, friendly atmosphere with volunteer marshals, a finish medal, goody bag and post-race snacks. UK Athletics affiliated; entries are limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
