Richmond Park Half and Full Marathon
The event offers two distances through Richmond Park on Sunday 23 August 2026.
- Full 26.2 miles (42.2 km)
- Half 13.1 miles (21.1 km)
Both races start at Sheen Gate and follow a route that uses park roads, paths and the Tamsin Trail. The course passes Richmond Gate, Dutchess Wood, White Lodge, Spankers Hill Wood and Robin Hood Gate. Runners follow the Tamsin Trail clockwise toward Broomfield Hill, continue past Ladderstile Gate and run through Dark Hill to the crossing at Kingston Gate. The route also goes by Ham Gate and Ham Gate Pond, joins the Tamsin Trail near the golf club, reaches Petersham Gate and returns along the trail to Ham Gate.
The second part of the lap follows the Horse Trail and a private road through the park toward Lawn Plantation and the cafe car park, then returns past White Lodge and Queens Ride back to Sheen Gate to complete the half-marathon lap.
Water and runner food are provided at Broomfield Hill, with additional refreshments at Ham Gate and other points on the course. Volunteers support the route and some road crossings require care where the course meets public roads.
The event is UK Athletics affiliated. Refunds are not offered, though entries may be held for a future event at the organiser's discretion when the event is at least five weeks away.
