Richmond Park – Half Marathon

The Richmond Park Half Marathon is a 13.1 miles (21.1 km) race run on trails and park roads within Richmond Park. The course starts and finishes at Sheen Gate and follows a predominantly clockwise route that uses sections of the Tamsin Trail, park roads and woodland paths.

Runners pass notable park features including Richmond Gate, Duchess Wood, White Lodge, Spankers Hill Wood, Robin Hood Gate, Broomfield Hill, Ladderstile Gate, Dark Hill and Ham Gate Pond. There are aid stations offering water and food at Broomfield Hill and additional refreshment points near Ham Gate. The route includes road crossings where participants are asked to take care with traffic.

The described route forms a lap of the park and returns to Sheen Gate after approximately 13.1 miles. Event organisers provide an on the day information sheet and a course map. Photographs from previous years are available for reference. The event is UK Athletics affiliated.

Entry terms note that refunds are not offered; at the race director’s discretion an entry may be held for a future event if the event is at least five weeks away.
