Donut Dash - Batavia
The Donut Dash is a community running event held on July 18, 2026, at the Peg Bond Center, 151 N. Island Avenue, Batavia, Illinois. The program includes three events and a sequence of youth races following the main run.
Event distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Youth Competitive Run for ages 6 to 14
- Munchkin Fun Run for children age 6 and under
Packet pickup and registration information is provided before and on race day. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for July 16, 2026, at Dick Pond Athletics, 303 N. Second Street, St. Charles, Illinois. Race day packet pickup takes place at the Peg Bond Center.
Race features include a certified 5K course, tech shirts for runners, and donuts and coffee at the finish line. Awards are given for the 5K with top overall male and female plus first through third places in multiple age groups ranging from 10 and under up to 70 and over. The 1 Mile offers overall boy and girl awards for each age from 6 through 14.
Event rules note that dogs are not permitted due to insurance restrictions. Jogging strollers are allowed but are asked to remain at the back of the group. Parking is available in front of and next to the Peg Bond Center with additional options within walking distance; some private lots have no parking signs and vehicles may be towed.
