About the race
The Naperville Noon Lions Turkey Trot is a community 5K run/walk held on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026, at Naperville Central High School, 440 West Aurora Avenue, Naperville, IL. The event is organized by the Naperville Noon Lions Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3), and proceeds support local hearing and vision care for children and seniors as well as veteran and anti-hunger and homelessness agencies.
Packet pickup takes place at the Naperville Running Company, 34 W Jefferson Ave, with scheduled hours on Saturday November 21 10:00–18:00, Sunday November 22 11:00–17:00, Monday November 23 10:00–20:00, Tuesday November 24 10:00–20:00, and Wednesday November 25 10:00–14:00; limited pickup is available Thanksgiving morning. All registered participants receive a long sleeve shirt in men’s and women’s sizes.
Race services include chip timing using a single chip on the back of the bib, water at the start, at the 2-mile mark, and at the finish, and an outdoor gear check. Running strollers are permitted; regular strollers, dogs, skates, bicycles and scooters are not allowed. Service dogs are welcome. Walkers are asked to finish within one hour and may be asked to move to the sidewalk if slower.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in standard age groups; unclaimed awards may be picked up after the event at the Naperville Running Company.
