Naperville Noon Lions Turkey Trot 5K
The Naperville Noon Lions Turkey Trot is the 29th annual community 5K run and walk held on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026, at Naperville Central High School, 440 West Aurora Avenue. The race course begins on Hillside Road. The event supports the Naperville Noon Lions Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3), and proceeds are donated locally for hearing and vision care, diabetes support, veterans services, and programs addressing hunger and homelessness.
Packet pickup takes place at the Naperville Running Company, 34 W Jefferson Ave, with several days of pickup the week before the race and limited pickup available on Thanksgiving morning. All registered participants receive a long sleeve t-shirt; sizes are offered in youth and men’s and women’s styles up to XXL.
Race logistics include chip timing via a single chip on the back of the bib, water available at the start, the 2-mile mark, and the finish, and a gear check located outside on the east side of the Field House. Running strollers are permitted; regular strollers, dogs, skates, bicycles, and scooters are not allowed. Service dogs are welcome. Walkers are expected to finish within one hour or move to the sidewalk and may not receive a finish time if they exceed one hour.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three in standard age groups. Awards not claimed race day are available for pickup after the event at the Naperville Running Company. The event is partially funded by a grant from the City of Naperville.
