About the race
The Doctors Gate fell race is a challenging 12.7-mile event set in the scenic landscape of Old Glossop. Participants will tackle nearly 3000 feet of ascent, following an old packhorse route that connects to the Pennine Way, and includes notable landmarks such as Higher Shelf Stones and James Thorn. The race begins and ends at the Queen's Arms, with food and a prize presentation awaiting finishers.
