Course and requirements
The event is described as a Category AS fell race covering approximately 5.8 km with about 315 m of ascent. It takes place in the evening when it will be dark; head torches are compulsory. Competitors are asked to carry full FRA kit as may be required on the day, including Waterproof Jacket (with hood), Waterproof Trousers, Hat, Gloves, Compass, Whistle, Map and Emergency Food.
