Black Night Scar

Black Night Scar is a Category AS fell race based in Todmorden. Race headquarters are at The Hare and Hounds Pub on Burnley Road, Todmorden OL14 8EA. The course is run in the evening when it will be dark; head torches are compulsory.

The course starts opposite Stoney Royd Lane on the track to Sourhall. Competitors are asked to carry full FRA kit as advised for the event, including a waterproof jacket with hood, waterproof trousers, hat, gloves, compass, whistle, map and emergency food. Final kit requirements may be confirmed on the day.

Entries for the event opened on Thursday 1 October 2026 and close on Sunday 22 November 2026. The event lists a minimum age of 16. Entry fees are shown as FRA member £6.00 and non member £7.00. Entries recorded so far are noted as 2 participants.
