Course and entry details

The route is mixed terrain on paths and trails through woodland and pasture with minimal road running. The course length is 13.2 km with approximately 400 m of elevation gain. The route climbs from Baslow toward Hassop, follows ridge paths through Bank Wood and Bramley Wood, descends to the River Derwent and Calver/Curbar, climbs to Baslow Edge on limestone and gritstone sections, then descends into Baslow to the finish at the primary school. The event is marshalled and the route is marked.

Entry is online only, with a published entry fee of £13. The field is capped at 400 runners and the minimum age is 18. The event is run under FRA rules, and participants should be prepared to carry the FRA Mandatory Minimum Kit. All proceeds are donated to Baslow St Anne’s Primary School PTFA, Baslow St Anne’s Church buildings restoration fund, and the homeless charity Shelter.
