Event Overview

The Desert View Elementary Dash for Autism is a run/walk event scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026. It takes place at Desert View Elementary School in Sunland Park, New Mexico.

Awards and Recognition

Awards are given for the 5K event. A trophy is awarded to the first-place overall male and female runners. Medals are given to the first, second, and third-place male and female finishers in various age groups from 9 & under to 70 & over. A trophy is also awarded to the largest team. Children who walk with their parents receive a special medal.

Registration Details

The first 300 registrants receive an event T-shirt. Packet pickup is available at Desert View Elementary on Thursday, April 16, and Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on both days. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
