Desert Night Race 3 - Phoenix, AZ
The Desert Night Race Series is a set of three evening running events in Phoenix held at AZ Falls (5802 E. Indian School Rd). Each event features a 5K distance and takes place on separate Fridays in August, September, and October, with dates listed as 8/21, 9/18, and 10/16.
Races are chip timed and include age group awards and raffle prizes. The field is limited to 250 entries per race. A virtual race option is available so participants can run on their own day and submit a time to receive a collectible medal; virtual entries still support the event charity. Race packets usually ship during race week.
The series includes series-specific features: a different desert themed medal for each 5K, an optional tech shirt for individual entries, and a free tech shirt for series registrants who register early. Early series registration price is listed as $89 until 8/3. Individual race entries are listed at $35 each with a price increase two weeks before each race.
