Desert Night Race Series
Run Your Race organizes the Desert Night Race Series, a set of three Friday evening 5K races held once a month through October at Arizona Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018. The three dates in the series are 8/21, 9/18, and 10/16.
Each live 5K is chip timed and includes age group awards and raffle prizes. Race fields are limited to 250 spots per event. The series features three collectible desert themed medals, one awarded for each 5K.
A virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend a live event. Virtual participants may choose their own day and time to complete the 5K, submit a finish time by email, and still receive the collectible medal. Virtual entries continue to raise funds for the event charity and race packets are usually shipped during race week.
Registration options include a series early registration price of $89 until 8/3, which includes a free tech shirt for the series for early registrants. Individual race entries are priced at $35 with a $5 increase two weeks before each race; a tech shirt is available for optional purchase with individual entries and remaining sizes are limited.
The series raises funds for Child Crisis Arizona, an organization that provides children and youth in Arizona a safe environment free from abuse and neglect by supporting strong and successful families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
