About the race
The Boo Bash! & 5K Dash is a community running event at Millennium High School in Goodyear, Arizona (14802 W Wigwam Blvd). The event brings together families, students, educators, local businesses, and neighbors from Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Avondale, Buckeye, and surrounding areas to support the Litchfield Elementary School District Educational Foundation.

Entry fees vary by date. Through September 24, 2026 the 1 Mile is $25 and the 5K is $35. From September 25 through October 23, 2026 the 1 Mile is $35 and the 5K is $45. On race day, October 24, fees are higher and shirts are not guaranteed: 1 Mile $40, 5K $50. Children 4 and under participate free when accompanied by a registered parent; no separate registration, bib, or shirt is required for those children.
A confirmation email is scheduled for October 22, 2026. Early packet pickup is available on October 23 with a raffle entry for those who pick up early. Race day packet pickup and registration occur at Millennium High School on October 24.
The event uses professional chip timing with disposable RFID chips affixed to the back of each bib. Bibs should be worn on the front of the participant’s shirt, facing outward. A T-shirt only option is available for $20 with orders due by September 25, 2026.
The LESD Educational Foundation funds classroom mini-grants, student scholarships, and teacher and staff recognition, with specific targets of $48,000 for mini-grants, $12,000 for scholarships, and more than $16,000 for recognition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
