Event overview
The Spooky Fun Run x Planet Fitness is the second annual fall-themed running event on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Papago Park, 625 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008. The event program includes:
- 5K
- Kid's Dash (untimed, ages 10 and under)
The 5K offers chip timing and age group awards. Race entry includes a custom bib, a designer t-shirt, and a finisher medal. The Kid's Dash includes a mini bib, designer shirt, and a kids dash pin; children may run the Kid's Dash without SWAG at no cost on race day.
Logistics and extras
Packet pickup is scheduled for race day only and opens 1.5 hours before the event starts. Free photos will be taken at the start/finish line by BodiesRC. The event features a Halloween costume contest, a vendor village with trick-or-treating, raffle drawings, water, and prepackaged snacks. Raffle prizes are drawn periodically during the event and require presence to win. Awards are presented for overall Male/Female/Non-Binary finishers and top three Male/Female/Non-Binary in age groups from Under 10 through 70+. A portion of the proceeds benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
