Demarest 5K
The Demarest 5K is a community running event held in the Northern Valley of New Jersey. The event takes place at County Road School in the town of Demarest and serves as a gathering for local families, students, and runners from the surrounding region.

The Principal's Challenge is a specialized training program designed for Demarest school children in grades K-8. Leading up to the race, students from local schools participate in weekly training sessions with their principals and coaches to develop stamina and healthy habits. This program culminates in their participation in the 5 km community event.
Following the main race, a One Mile Fun Run is available for all attendees to join. Registration includes tiered pricing for individuals and family value rates for groups of three to five members. Participants who register by April 12 are guaranteed an event T-shirt.
Local amenities and event facilities include designated parking areas and organized bib pick-up locations.
