Arizona Sunrise Series 2026
The Arizona Sunrise Series is a seven‑race series of 5K events held at seven Valley locations in Arizona between May and August 2026. The seven dates are May 16, May 30, June 13, June 27, July 11, July 25, and August 8 at Kiwanis Park, Scottsdale Sports Complex, Rio Vista Park, Freestone Park, Foothills Park, Arizona Boardwalk, and Riparian Preserve.
Series registration and virtual series registration are offered. Virtual participants receive a main finisher medal, seven location attachments, and seven event shirts with shipping included. Virtual entries are limited to US addresses and allow time submissions through August 5 to earn points toward the series prize drawing. Mail in registration is accepted through May 10 without online processing fees.
Participants earn points for each completed event with extra points by age group and overall finish. The top 100 point earners, plus participants who complete at least four of the seven events, are entered into the Arizona Sunrise Series Prize Drawing. Three prize winners receive a $500 gift card and overall awards are distributed after the series on August 9.
All events feature a 5K distance. Live events offer male and female age group awards for top three finishers and provide on-course support such as pre and post event refreshments. Walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, and leashed pets are allowed on course; roller blades and motorized devices are not permitted.
