2026 DEKA World Championship - Fort Worth, TX
The 2026 DEKA World Championship is a four-day functional fitness event held at the Ft. Worth Convention Center from December 10 to December 13, 2026. The program combines invite-only world championship races with open heats for the public, staged within the Stockyards area of Fort Worth.
Championship sub-events and formats include:
- DEKA FIT World Championship (Individual Elite and Age Group, Ruck, 2-Person Teams, 4-Person Teams) : invite only.
- DEKA MILE World Championship (Individual Elite and Age Group, Ruck, 2-Person Teams) : invite only.
- DEKA STRONG World Championship (Individual Elite and Age Group, Ruck, 2-Person Teams) : invite only.
- DEKA STRONG Open Heats and age-group heats for individuals and 2-person teams : open to the public on specified days.
DEKA STRONG uses the 10 signature DEKA fitness zones and is staged with no running between zones. DEKA FIT is listed with a distance of 5 km, 10 zones, and an average duration of about 50 minutes 30 seconds.
Finishers at open DEKA STRONG heats receive a DEKA World Championship shirt and medal and may qualify for the 2027 DEKA STRONG World Championship. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
