2025 DEKA World Championship
The 2025 DEKA World Championship takes place Dec 05-07, 2025 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The event is hosted by Visit Lauderdale. The three world championship competitions are scheduled on separate days: DEKA FIT, DEKA MILE, and DEKA STRONG.

DEKA FIT format and heats
DEKA FIT is a 5 km fitness course made up of ten functional training zones. Each zone is preceded by a 500 m run, which together total the 5 km distance. The ten zones start with more basic movements and progress in intensity; zones 6 to 10 require full-body effort. Event heats are offered at multiple levels, from Age Group up to Elite. The published average duration for DEKA FIT is 0 h 50 m 30 s.
Finisher items and leaderboard
Participants who complete DEKA FIT receive a finisher tee and a finisher medal with lanyard. A DEKA FIT Trifecta wedge is also issued; the wedge is associated with completing DEKA STRONG and DEKA MILE in the same year. Results are posted on global DEKA leaderboards for ranking.
