2026 DEKA World Championship - Fort Worth, TX
The 2026 DEKA World Championship is a four day fitness competition held at the Ft. Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas from December 10 to 13, 2026. The event combines invite only world championship races with open DEKA STRONG heats for the public and community competitors.
Invite only world championship events include:
- DEKA FIT World Championship (December 10) with individual elite and age group divisions, ruck, two person teams, and four person teams.
- DEKA MILE World Championship (December 11) with individual elite and age group divisions, ruck, and two person teams.
- DEKA STRONG World Championship (December 12) with individual elite and age group divisions, ruck, and two person teams.
Open to the public are DEKA STRONG events on December 12 and December 13. A themed Saturday evening event called the Hoedown Throwdown features a DEKA STRONG two person team competition. Sunday includes open age group individual and two person team heats on the main stage.
DEKA STRONG uses the 10 signature DEKA fitness zones and does not include running. For DEKA FIT the listed distance is 5 km and the format includes 10 zones with an average reported duration of about 50 minutes 30 seconds. Finishers receive a DEKA World Championship shirt and medal and may earn qualification for the 2027 DEKA STRONG World Championship. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
