Event Overview
The DC Mother's Day 10k is a chip-timed running event held on Mother's Day weekend in Georgetown, Washington, DC. The event also includes a 5k distance.

Course Details
Both races take place on the C&O Canal towpath, which is a light gravel and dirt road. The course is described as scenic and flat with minimal elevation change, following an out-and-back route. The start and finish area is near the Potomac Boat Club.
Participant Information
Walkers and participants with strollers are welcome. The event includes a "Back of the Pack" time of 11:00 per mile, which is part of a series for participants with that average pace or higher. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as first and second place in standard age group categories.
Amenities & Registration
Registered runners receive a finisher's medal and a technical event shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations before April 29. A virtual run option is available for those who cannot attend on the day. There is no on-site registration; participants must register in advance. The event is held rain or shine.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available at the event. Parking is available along Water Street and in several nearby garages. Three water stations are located on the 10k course, and one is on the 5k course.
