Dark Valley, Night Trails
Dark Valley Night Trails takes place on 21 November 2026 at Moors Valley Country Park, Horton Road, Ringwood, Dorset. The event is a night-time trail run on a looped route through forested areas and tree-lined paths.
The course is fully signed with fluorescent directional markers and is designed as a 10 km loop. Runners use headtorches to navigate the marked route. Organisers recommend carrying a backup light and appropriate clothing for winter conditions. A GPX file of the route is provided for download because on-course arrows can be tampered with.
Distances and entry prices:
- 10 km - £34
- 20 km - £40
- 30 km - £46
Options are provided as 1, 2 or 3 laps of the 10 km loop. Cut off times apply for the longer options: the 20 km has a 3 hour cut off and the 30 km has a 4.5 hour cut off; the 10 km has no cut off. Race bibs are collected from the registration tent at the event site. A bag drop tent will be available on the day. Car parking is in the main car park at Moors Valley Country Park and is free.
Finishers receive a bespoke medal or may opt to have a tree planted through the Trees Not Tees scheme. The event includes an aid station, on course photographers and volunteer marshals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
