Questars Adventure Race : Wiltshire
This event is the first race of the 2026/27 Winter Series, held in Wiltshire at Chalke Valley Sports Centre, Broad Chalke, SP5 5HX on Saturday 14 November 2026. It combines trail running and mountain biking across local trails and varied terrain. Participants navigate using map and compass to visit as many checkpoints as possible within a set time limit; there are no fixed route distances and competitors choose which checkpoints to visit and in what order.
Event options and typical durations:
- Duo Full: Run and bike, up to 5 hours.
- Duo Taster: Run and bike, up to 3 hours.
- Bike-only: Mountain bike orienteering, up to 3 hours.
- Run-only: Trail run orienteering, up to 2 hours.
Entries can be solo or in teams of two, three or four. Bike hire is available and organisers recommend a mountain bike for off-road sections; other off-road bikes are permitted but e-bikes must be declared and are classified as non-competitive. Mandatory safety kit is required for participants. Onsite facilities include parking, an indoor hall for shelter, catering with hot and cold food, and toilets, showers and changing areas.
