Crotty's Lake
The event takes place on Comeragh Mountain in County Waterford and is organised under IMRA rules. The main course covers significant ascent and includes technical terrain around Crotty's Lake, with some slippery sections even in dry conditions. GPS devices are not permitted. Headphones may not be used during the race.
Mandatory kit is Level A basic equipment; a showerproof, windproof jacket must be carried or worn for the duration of the race. Organisers will finalise the list of items on the day and random kit checks may be carried out. Race numbers must be worn on the front of the chest so they are visible at the finish.
Entries open on 20 July 2026 and close on 24 July 2026. Entry fees are stated for different age groups and the event limit is 250 runners. The race takes place on private land with permission from the landowner. There is car parking available at a stated charge per car. There will be no early start and prizegiving will take place at the finish area.
There is a junior route of about 5 km with a marshal at the turnaround; children under 10 must be accompanied on the course.
