18th Annual Old Parish Turkey Trot
The Old Parish Turkey Trot is an annual community event held at the Marine Bar, Pulla, Dungarvan. The event features both a run and a walk and is organised in memory of Paddy Joe Curran, who established the event in 2007 to promote athletics in the An Rinn and As Seans Phobal areas. After his death in 2011, friends continued the event to grow it and to raise funds for local charities.
The event is sponsored by Cleanzone Technologies Ltd. Prize giving and refreshments are provided at the Marine Bar after the event. Entry fees are listed as €10 for online registration and €15 for on-the-day registration.
