Event Details

The 35th annual John Treacy Dungarvan 10 Mile is scheduled for Sunday, 31st January 2027. The race will start on the Youghal Road in Dungarvan, County Waterford.

The Course

The event is a 10-mile road race. The course is described as fast and flat, taking runners around the historic town of Dungarvan.

Registration and Participation

Entries open on 1st December, with priority given to Athletics Ireland (A.A.I.) club members who can register using their life membership number. Remaining places will be available from 8th December. The entry fee is €45. This is a pre-entry event with a cap of 3,750 participants and no entry on the day. Race numbers are posted to participants the week before the event.

Prizes

The total prize fund for the 2027 race is over €6,000 in cash prizes. Prizes are awarded to the first ten men and the first ten women to finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
