Event details
The Colne Valley 10k challenge is a 10k road/trail race scheduled for 31 May 2026. The event starts and finishes at Leymoor Cricket Club. The marshalled route passes through parts of Longwood and up through Outlane golf course, with views over Huddersfield. A GPX file for the route is available.
Entry and other information
Entry is limited to 200 places and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. The event is open to people aged 16 to 85. Standard entry costs £16; a discounted price of £14 applies until 28 May 2026 for members of the Association Of Running Clubs. All entrants receive a finisher's medal. Prizes are planned for first male finisher, first female finisher and veteran category winners. Funds raised will go to Leymoor Cricket Club.
