Event overview
The Colne Valley 10k Challenge is a 10-kilometre road/trail race scheduled for 31 May 2026. The race starts and finishes at Leymoor Cricket Club and is organised as part of the Huddersfield Road Series. The route passes through parts of Longwood and up through Outlane golf course, offering views over Huddersfield. A GPX file for the route is available.
Entry and race details
The field is limited to 200 participants and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Runners must be aged 16 to 85. Entry includes a finisher's medal, and prizes are planned for the first male finisher, the first female finisher and veteran category winners. Entry fees are shown as £16 standard, with a discounted fee of £14 for members of the Association Of Running Clubs until 28 May 2026. Funds raised by the event will go to Leymoor Cricket Club.
