Even Splits Leeds 5K (October 2026)
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly road race held at the Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, University of Leeds. The event covers 5 kilometres on a flat, road course completed over three laps. Entry is limited to 200 runners.
Races are chip timed and results appear on Power of 10. Finish-line results are sent by text as runners cross, and mile splits are published the following day. Participants receive a chocolate bar at the finish. First time entrants are issued a race number with an embedded timing chip that can be used at both Leeds and York 5K events; this number is collected from Registration on the first visit. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020 to 2025 may be reused in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. All entrants are entitled to one free number replacement in any 12 month period; further replacements are charged at £4.
Facilities listed for the event include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. Race headquarters is the Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, Bodington Avenue, Leeds LS16 8NA. A race licence has been applied for.
Deferral of a place is permitted once, to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before the race. Entry fees vary by affiliation and by single race or race pass. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
