Even Splits Leeds 5K (Oct 2026)
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly 5 kilometre road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre between February and November. The course is flat, run over three laps, and is listed as suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is limited to 200 places; 147 places remained available at the time of listing.
Races are chip timed and results are sent by text as runners cross the finish line. Mile splits are published the next day and results appear on Power of 10. First-time entrants are issued a race number with an embedded timing chip that can also be used at the York 5K; this number is collected from Registration on the first visit. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020–25 may be reused in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. Entrants are entitled to one free number replacement in any 12 month period, with subsequent replacements charged at £4.
Facilities at Race HQ include water, distance markers and toilets; there are no changing facilities, showers or baggage storage. A race licence has been applied for. Entry prices for single Leeds races are £10 affiliated and £12 unaffiliated, with multi-race passes offered for October to November at £18 affiliated and £22 unaffiliated. Entry on the day is not available. Places may be deferred once to the next race in the same calendar year if requested at least three days before race day.
