EvenSplits Leeds 5K - October 2026
The event is a monthly 5 kilometre road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre on Wednesday 28th October 2026. The course is flat, consists of three laps, and the race is road-surface based. The organiser is Even Splits.
Racing is chip-timed and EA licensed; results appear on Power of 10. Finish-line results are sent by text as runners cross the line, and mile splits are published the next day. A small post-race item is given at the finish. The entry is limited to 200 places; the listing shows 153 places remaining at the time of publication.
When entered for the first time, runners are assigned a race number with an embedded timing chip that can be used at both the Leeds and York 5K events. Previously issued red 5K numbers from 2020-25 may be reused in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. All entrants are entitled to one free number replacement in a 12 month period; subsequent replacements are charged at £4.
Facilities at the Race HQ (Brownlee Centre, Bodington Playing Fields, Bodington Avenue, Leeds LS16 8NA) include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. The organisers allow a single deferral to the next race in the calendar year if requested at least three days before race day.
