EvenSplits Leeds 5K (Oct 2026)
The Even Splits Leeds 5K is a monthly road race held at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre, running February to November. The course distance is 5 kilometres, completed over three flat laps. The field is limited to 200 entrants; at the time of listing there were 110 places remaining.
Races are chip-timed and results appear on Power of 10. Finish-line texts with results are sent as runners cross, and mile splits are published the following day. On completion each runner receives a chocolate bar.
Race numbers with embedded timing chips are issued on first entry and can be used at both Leeds and York 5K events. Previously issued RED 5K race numbers from 2020-25 may be reused in 2026 if recorded on the entry form. Entrants are entitled to one free number replacement in any 12 month period; subsequent replacements are charged at £4.
Facilities at the Brownlee Centre race HQ include water, distance markers and toilets; there are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. The race is described as suitable for wheelchairs. A race licence is noted as applied for.
Entry pricing for this event is published as follows: single race affiliated £10, single race unaffiliated £12; a two-race Leeds Race Pass (Oct-Nov) affiliated £18, unaffiliated £22. Entry on the day is not available. Deferral of a place is allowed once to the next race in the same calendar year if requested at least three days before race day.
