Event details
Hubble Bubble & Ghostly 1 Mile is a Halloween-themed running event on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal at Wyther Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds, LS5 3BT. The course is Trail Running Association licensed and uses a flat, scenic out-and-back route along the canal. Races are marshalled and fully signed. Feed and drink stations are provided approximately every 3 miles; participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle because the event is cup-less. Fancy dress is encouraged and spot prizes are offered for best costume. Bespoke Halloween medals and sweet treats are given to finishers.

- 10K : open to entrants aged 16+; price about £25-27
- 10 Miles : open to entrants aged 17+; price about £26-28
- Half Marathon : open to entrants aged 17+; price about £30-32
- Marathon : open to entrants aged 18+; price about £39-41
- 20 Miler : open to entrants aged 18+; price about £36-38
- Ultra Marathon : open to entrants aged 21+; price about £54-56
Location and practical information
The nearest train station is Headingley. There is no parking at the start/finish; nearby parking is available at Morrisons, about a five-minute walk. Safety rules include restrictions on over-ear headphones - bone-conducting or one-in-one-out earbuds are allowed - and some unmanned road crossings on the route.
