Hubble Bubble & Ghostly 1 Mile
Its Grim Up North Running stages a Halloween themed trail event on 31 October 2026 at the Leeds to Liverpool Canal, Wyther Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds LS5 3BT. Distances range from a 1 mile fun run to an Ultra Marathon, with several options along a flat, scenic out and back canal route.
The event is Trail Running Association licensed and the course is marshalled and fully signed. Feed and drink stations are provided approximately every 3 miles; participants should bring a reusable cup or bottle because the event is cup less. Finishers receive a bespoke Halloween medal and treats, and spot prizes are awarded for fancy dress. The Ghostly 1 Mile is presented as a family friendly fun run.
Transport and access details note the nearest train station is Headingley. There is no parking at the start and finish; parking is available a short walk away at Morrisons, Kirkstall. Car sharing is encouraged. Important event rules include a restriction on over ear headphones with only bone conducting or one in one out earbuds permitted, and some road crossings are unmanned so care is required. Safety procedures request that anyone injured or needing to stop notify the nearest marshal. Minimum age limits apply to some distances.
