Hubble Bubble & Ghostly 1 Mile
The event is a Halloween themed trail running meeting on the Leeds to Liverpool Canal at Wyther Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds. It is Trail Running Association licensed and uses a flat, scenic out-and-back route along the canal. Races include a short family fun run and longer distances up to ultra marathon distance.
The event provides bespoke Halloween medals and sweet treats for finishers. Fancy dress is encouraged and spot prizes are awarded for the best costumes. The course is marshalled and fully signed, with feed and drink stations approximately every three miles; participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle because the event is cup-less.
Safety measures include restrictions on over-ear headphones and a warning that some road crossings are unmanned. Transfers and deferrals are available online. Nearest train access is Headingley station. There is no parking at the start and finish; nearby parking is available at Morrisons car park a short walk away.
