Clowbridge 5k - Autumn 2/3
The Clowbridge 5k is a trail race held around a popular route off the Pennine Bridleway. The course consists of two laps of the trail path around Clowbridge Reservoir, run anti-clockwise from the Rossendale Valley Sailing Club on Manchester Road, Burnley, BB11 5PF. The distance is 5 km with about 25 m of elevation change over the course.
This event is part of a three race Autumn series taking place on Thursdays on 3 September, 10 September and 17 September 2026. It is open to participants aged 11 and over. Races are marshalled and prizes are awarded in each race.
Entries were opened on 21 March 2026 and close on 9 September 2026. The published entry fee for the event is £6.50. Parking is available locally, including a lower car park at the Sailing Club and parking near Limey Lane at the far end of the reservoir; participants are asked to park sensibly.
